International Artisans Christmas Bazaar

The Missions Ministry held their International Artisans Christmas Bazaar on Saturday Nov. 9.  Over 250 neighbors and church members attended the event.  The Missions Ministry raised approximately $4,000 selling Serrv merchandise made by 3rd world artisans.  We retain a small portion of the proceeds to be used to support other OIEPC mission programs. Shoppers traveled from an hour away to attend this event. Early shoppers secured the best selection of gifts, where some shoppers traveled more than an hour to shop.

Our Celebration on August 14th for Tony Witkege was a great occasion for OIEPC to show him just how loved he is. His service to our church was a blessing. We all had a great time of fellowship, laughter, and honoring Tony for his work. Thank you to all who prepared food, deco-rated, and made this event very special. Pastor Walter

2018 Missions Fair

The Missions & Outreach Ministry held their bi-annual Missions Fair over the weekend of October 20-21.  All of the nine supported Missions were represented with tables in Fellowship Hall.  The event began with a banquet of South Carolina “Best in State” BBQ Pork dinner, introductions of each of our mission representatives and a special presentation by Doug and Abby Vinez.  Doug and Abby spoke about their adventures and missionary work in training Zambian pastors, church planters, and worship leaders to effectively equip and lead their congregations to evangelize and disciple their communities for Christ. the gospel message.
The Mission Sunday worship service began with a parade of flags and mission representatives into the Sanctuary.  Scott Fogel, our supported Mission in France addressed the congregation via Skype. Doug Vinez presented a stirring sermon titled “Do You Know Who You Are?” from Acts 1:1-11.  Doug’s sermon can be accessed on the home page of the OIEPC website.  A special thanks and kudos to Susan Smith and her Missions Fair Committee for their work in pulling this event together.
